History & Establishment
The Association of Landowners of the OSMAS Area in Karystos was founded in 2002, with its headquarters in Athens, by members who were land beneficiaries of the Housing Cooperative of Permanent Officers of the Hellenic Army in the Panadas Karpezou area. Its creation responded to the need for collective representation and the effective pursuit of essential infrastructure projects in the region.
From its very first decade of operation, the Association achieved significant accomplishments, such as promoting the construction of a water supply network and the planning of the road network. At the same time, it actively worked to protect the natural environment, opposing harmful developments in the coastal zone, such as the proposed construction of an industrial unit at the entrance of the settlement.
Today, it continues with the same dedication, striving for sustainable and high- quality development of the settlement, while safeguarding the interests of all its members.
Purpose
The mission of the Association is to safeguard the interests of landowners and to promote the residential development of the OSMAS area in Karystos, with respect for the environment and the local community, within the framework of its founding law. within the framework of its founding law.

Purpose
Σκοπός του συλλόγου είναι η εκδήλωση ενδιαφέροντος για τη οικιστική ανάπτυξης της περιοχές του ΟΣΜΑΕΣ Οικοδομικός Συνεταιρισμός Μονίμων Αξιωματικών Ελληνικού Στρατού στην Κάρυστο και η προστασία των συμφερόντων των μελών του δικαιούχων ΟΣΜΑΕΣ και τρίτων για την επίτευξη του παραπάνω σκοπό ο σύλλογος θα ενεργεί προς κάθε εμπλεκόμενη αρχή η υπηρεσία για:
- Την προστασία των συμφερόντων των οικοπεδούχων όπου απαιτείται καθόλη την περίοδο της οικιστικής ανάπτυξης της περιοχής
- Την ταχεία και οικονομικότερη προώθηση και εκτέλεση των αναγκαίων έργων υποδομής σύμφωνα με τη ισχύουσα νομοθεσία καθώς και την αποκατάσταση των καταστροφών στην περιοχή
- Τον εξωραϊσμό της περιοχής της την προστασία του περιβάλλοντος και των ακτών και την προώθηση θεμάτων που αφορούν την περιοχή (π.χ. ονομασία οδών δενδροφύτευση κ.λ.π
- Της σύνταξη μελετών για την ανάπτυξη της περιοχής οι οποίες θα προωθούνται μέσω του ΟΣΜΑΕΣ ή του Δήμου Καρύστου για υλοποίηση
- Την εκπροσώπηση των οικοπεδούχων μελών του μ αρέσει και τρίτων σε συνεργασία μετονες μέρες και κάθε άλλη δημόσια αρχή υπηρεσία σε όσοι έκταση απαιτείται
- Τη σύσφιξη των σχέσεων μεταξύ των οικοπεδούχων και μελλοντικά των οικιστών καθώς και την ενημέρωσή τους για κάθε θέματα που τους αφορούν
- Τη συνεχή και άμεση συνεργασία ειδικά με το Δήμο Καρύστου για το συντονισμό των ενεργειών που θα αφορούν στην επίλυση τοίχων προβλημάτων για την ολοκληρωμένη ανάπτυξη της περιοχής και την επίλυση των διαφόρων προβλημάτων
- Την εξεύρεση επιδοτούμενων προγραμμάτων από εθνικούς και ευρωπαϊκούς φορείς για την εκτέλεση έργων προστασίας του περιβάλλοντος
- Την οικιστική ανάπτυξης της περιοχής της περιοχής εφόσον το επιθυμούν και το ζητήσουν τα μέλη του συλλόγου σε συνεργασία με τον ΟΣΜΑΕΣ και ιδιωτικές εταιρείες

Governing Bodies of the Association

General Assembly of Members
The General Assembly is the supreme body of the Association and consists of members who are financially up to date. It elects and dismisses the members of the Board of Directors, defines its mandate and the manner in which the Association’s objectives are fulfilled, and decides on any matter concerning the Association. The General Assembly convenes regularly once a year, within the first quarter.

The Board of Directors
The Association is governed by a five-member Board of Directors elected by secret ballot
from a slate of candidates at a General Assembly of financially up-to-date members, and it serves a three-year term.

Audit Committee
The Audit Committee is an independent body of the Association, primarily responsible for overseeing financial management and ensuring compliance with the decisions of the Board of Directors. It reviews the books, supporting documents, and the Association’s financial statements, safeguarding transparency and legality in all procedures. The Committee submits a relevant report to the General Assembly of the members.
